1st Annual Woodland Carnival
Play with a Purpose!
Sunday May 24 | 2-4 PM
Gold Bar Park Picnic Site #2 (Covered Shelter Near Bathrooms)
Cost: Free to Attend! (Donations to our Subsidy Fund are gratefully accepted!)
Join Edmonton Forest School Society for a free afternoon of land-connected fun in one of our city’s most beautiful public parks. While you play, you’ll be helping us grow—this year’s carnival is a fundraiser for our EFSS Subsidy Fund.
Our Goal: To raise funds that ensure families experiencing financial barriers can access forest school programs next year.
/
Play:
Potato sack races and pine cone toss.
Creative Woods:
Make fairy wands, wood cookie necklaces, and woodland bubbles.
Build & Explore:
Den building and a nature mud kitchen for “potions” and flowers.
Photos & Stories:
Snap a selfie in our forest dress-up clothes, then stay for storytelling by the fire (fire ban permitting).
Fun for all ages! Everyone is welcome!
