Our Educators

Edmonton Forest School educators use place and play-based, emergent, and inquiry-driven teaching and learning methods. Their role is that of a facilitator, guide, supporter, and co-learner, rather than expert, and they are constantly balancing those roles.

Our Partners & Guests

Edmonton Forest School Society is grateful for the support and guidance of generous educators, consultants, and community partners.

Our Community Is Growing!

Join us! We're looking for passionate, self-motivated, nature-loving educators & driven board members to join our team.

Our Board & Admin Staff

Edmonton Forest School Society is a not-for-profit society and our board of volunteers work to create opportunities for children, families, and schools to connect to our incredible River Valley park system.

Our Founders

Edmonton Forest School Society was founded in 2020 by a group of dedicated parents, teachers, and community members who came together to ensure our children, the next generation, become resilient, empathetic, adventurous environmental stewards who care and protect our greatest resource; the natural world. We are forever grateful for their tireless work tending the seeds of our young organization.
