Why Should I Join the EFSS?

You should join us if you:

  • Want to be part of building empathetic, resilient future leaders.

What are the benefits of Membership?

  • Receive an annual newsletter with the highlights of our work by email.
  • Early access to program registration before it opens to the general public in Spring.
  • Receive a copy upon request of
    • bylaws
    • minutes of member and member committee meetings
    • a list of directors, and
    • financial statements.
  • One vote on all motions proposed at the AGM and at any Special Meeting.

What are the responsibilities of Membership?

  • In the conduct of EFSS business, behave with kindness, respect, and in accordance with EFSS bylaws.
  • Attend the EFSS Annual General Membership meeting in October.

Who are or can become members?

  • EFSS Families:
    • Families who have registered their child in an EFSS program, paid the appropriate registration fee and signed applicable liability waivers are automatically granted 1 membership per household
    • Family memberships terminate on October 30th of any year unless a renewal is processed.
  • Community-members-at-large:
    • Any person who supports the vision and values of EFSS can purchase a membership for $10 (one membership/household).
    • Community-at-large memberships terminate on October 30th of any year unless a renewal is processed.
