Dalia grew up in Mexico, where she spent most of her childhood playing outside and learning through experience. She remembers having a safe space where she could be free and explore with her friends. Such beautiful stories and great bonding she recalls from these times! For this reason, she truly believes that all children should be allowed the opportunity to grow in a safe space where they can be free to play, experience their strengths, learn from others, and create community. Her passion for education and child development brought her to Canada, where she is currently a doctoral student in Special Education. She loves riding her bike on a bright summer day and when the temperature gets low, a good cup of hot chocolate brings her great joy.
