Katie finds her greatest joy in the embrace of nature, whether it’s camping in the mountains or exploring the river valley trails here at home. With a 20-year career in teaching, mainly focused on special education, she has always been driven by a profound passion for education. Over the past eight years, her love for the outdoors has seamlessly merged with her professional life, as she increasingly integrates elements of the urban wilderness into her educational approach.
