Regan Stevens

My name is Regan Stevens. I grew up on a farm in a small town just outside of Edmonton, where my love and appreciation for the outdoors began. Growing up surrounded by open fields, animals, changing seasons, and the rhythms of nature taught me from an early age how much there is to learn, discover, and connect with in the natural world.

I have always been passionate about working with children and supporting them as they grow into their own unique selves. I hold a degree focused on supporting youth with exceptionalities and have more than six years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. Most recently, I had the opportunity to work at an overnight summer camp, where I was reminded just how powerful outdoor experiences can be in building confidence, independence, connection, and a sense of wonder.

Alongside my work with children, I am also a spiritual leader. My spiritual practice is deeply connected to my love of the natural world and my belief that nature offers us meaningful opportunities for reflection, connection, curiosity, and belonging. I love creating spaces where children can slow down, explore, ask questions, and develop their own relationships with themselves, each other, and the world around them.

I am especially excited to bring the 7 Relationships into my work at Forest School. I look forward to supporting children as they build meaningful relationships with themselves, one another, their communities, and the natural world through play, exploration, and shared experiences outdoors.
